The beaches here are white sand and run down to perfect clear turquoise waters that are not subject to the southerly swells of the Indian Ocean and are instead perfect for swimming and snorkeling around the coral encrusted reefs and lagoons that are positively seeming with life which leads us onto another great reason to visit this area. Pemuteran is home to some incredible diving that can be enjoyed in this tranquil secluded location without large crowds of divers. Pemuteran�s proximity to the Menjangan Island makes it particularly excellent as there are a few dive operators who are based around the Pemuteran area and offer services including boat trips, gear hire and PADI training in this wonderful biodiverse area. There are also a number of resorts that are ran specifically for divers who wish to visit the area and often offer package deals so you can make the most of your stay at a discount price. Pemuteran is as yet in its prime glory with only a few resorts and essential services, it is possible to stay in luxury accommodation here and receive all required services in terms of modern traveling whilst enjoying one of Bali�s most beautiful areas in tropical seclusion.
