Thailand or The Kingdom of Thailand is a country in Southeast Asia. Thailand has tropical climate that is characterized by monsoon. Thailand consists of 75 provinces. Those provinces are gathered into 5 groups based on location and 2 special governed districts. They are Bangkok (Krung Threp Maha Nakhon) that is at provincial level and Pattaya. That’s way Thailand is often be counted to have 76 provinces. Besides Thai-people, another people live in Thailand is Chinese who is considered as the largest non-Thai people. Others are Malays, Mon Khmer and Vietnamese. Thai language becomes Thailand’s national language written in its own alphabet. Another dialects much used by many ethnic are Isan or Mon-Khmer languages. Even though they do not use English everyday, but it is taught in schools. 95% of Thai people are Buddhists of the Theravada tradition. The second largest religion is Muslims. It’s about 4.6% and lives on Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat and Songkhla Chumpon, the southernmost provinces in Thailand. There is also 0.75% of Thais whose religion is Catholic. As the world’s tourist destination, Thailand has many places to visit. Most of the visitors come to Thailand to enjoy its beaches. It is no doubt that the beaches in Thailand consider as the most beautiful one in the world. It has clear sand, clean water with the beautiful view. If arrange a holiday in Thailand the places you may visit are: In the centeral of Thailand : Ayutthaya, Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Hua Hin The Northern Part : Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Mae Hong Son,Sukhothai The Northeast Part : Buriram, Khon Kaen, Loei, Nakhon Ratchasima, Nong Khai. The Eastern Part : Chonburi, Rayong, Trat, Pattaya, Koh Chang The Southert Part : Krabi, Phang-Nga, Phuket, Ranongm, Songkhla, Surat Thani, Trang, Koh Samui, Phi Phi Islands. For those who want to go to Thailand, especially the one who likes beaches as well as the nightlife, it is recommended to visit Pattaya beach located in Chonburi. But, the one who wants to enjoy himself during the holiday, it is recommended to experience one of the spa in Thailand because the spas in there are as famous as the beaches.
