Located in the cultural heart of Bali, the Aniniraka Resort is a modern traditional style intimate little retreat. Ubud location is at the foot of the central mountains at 600m above sea level with astonishing views of Bali. Ubud is undoubtedly both an area of outstanding natural and cultural beauty. Ubud had a fascinating history of a devoted following of the Balinese Hindu religion, accommodating the royal family, compelling creativity in the form of painters, carvers, performers and dancers who have been inspired by this area for generations. Vast luscious rice paddies and tropical forests descend down to fresh water streams, rivers and ravines that extend from the wonderful Indonesian mountain backdrop. Whilst staying in Ubud it is likely that you will come across one of the many elaborate Balinese ceremonies that can be tranquil or full of energy, delicate or sinister but always enchanting and mystifying.

Aniniraka Resort is in the center of a rice padies area and has a modern style retaining a traditional look. Modern lighting and design techniques have been adopted alongside traditional architecture and garden layout to produce a homely eastern luxury hideaway. Aniniraka has only 11 villas or rooms here in this reasonably large area so the atmosphere is very quiet and tranquil with excellent service from the dedicated staff. The options include superior and deluxe pavilions and suite villas all of which are air conditioned with hot and cool water, full serine bathrooms, color TV and complimentarily mineral water. The deluxe and suites also have fridges.

Aniniraka Resort features the restaurant that serving traditional and contemporary foods from all corners of the world, a large luxurious swimming pool and Jacuzzi. There is also a safe playground for children, a meeting room and room service. Other services include safety deposit, laundry, car rental, luggage storage, baby specific facilities and airport transfer.

The spa and bars are very classy indeed and with modern lighting and minimalist design. The spa offers a large range of treatments including traditional Balinese massage, Javanese Lulur bathes, and other treatments including salt scrubs and facials. All treatments are carried out by professionals who are experienced in each area and providing an authentic sensation.

Areas of interest in the Ubud area include the famous painters’ villages and art markets, the many temples and monuments in the area, the conservational monkey forest, fantastic cuisine and museums. Excursions can be made locally or out of Ubud at ease, there area a string of less visited sleepy fishing villages that represent untouched real Bali along the east coast, the south of Bali is just over an hour’s drive if requires and trips can be taken in the mountains and around the volcano from Ubud making this spot ideal for taking in Bali away from the chaos of Kuta.

Aniniraka Resort is a very well presented intimate little escape, in an unmistakably beautiful area. Services are very good and the facilities are fine. A lovely little place to spend a romantic holiday within this friendly and calming culture.
