Located just 10 minutes outside of the heart of Ubud, the Bhanuswari Resort and Spa is a peaceful tropical country alternative to staying right in the center of this wonderful cultural center of Bali. Bhanuswari Resort is a Mod-ethnic resort based around the traditional concepts of boutique bungalow arrangements brought to the modern day by the employment and ideas of modern designers. Finished in 2006 and managed by I Nyoman Suweta, the Bhanuswari Resort and Spa was developed in order to create a sustainable environmentally aware Ubud boutique resort that would allow the many villagers in the area who were training in the leisure and tourism industry to work from there village with out having to commute to the south of the island. The rooms are modern in feel but traditional in design with modern lighting and clear universal resort concepts married with the traditional trims of locally produced furniture including tables, chairs, beds and cupboards and artwork. All rooms have large verandas looking out into the private garden area or the surrounding ponds and central courtyards that are pristine with the type of tropical grandeur that only the Balinese can produce. All rooms are air-conditioned and have luxury beds with large flowing mosquito nets and en suite bathrooms with hot and cold-water baths and showers. There are also a selection of modern living amenities such as hair dryers, drink making facilities and all required accessories.
