Furama Villas and Spa is a traditional paradise resort located in the heart of Ubud surrounded by Padi fields with the grand impressive Mount Batur standing behind the creating scenery that is nothing short of Idyllic. The villa is traditional in style with some impressive grand feature such as the multiple pools that surround the front of the villa on different levels in a rice terrace-like fashion and the magnificent gardens that are traditional Balinese in every way including the perfect maintenance and pride of the gardens who spend their time perfecting it. Ubud is located around an hour and a half's drive from the airport and is north-east of the southern areas such as Kuta.

Here there is a very different scene at over 600 meter above sea level in the cooler air with some amazing sights of Bali. Here you can see the rice paddies rolling down the hillside and tropical woodlands including the ancient and conservational monkey forest and the streams, brook and river mouths the carve the land all the way down to the eastern fishing villages which also make an ideal day trip to the seaside. As well as Ubud's beauty in landscape there is also particular beauty in the culture of the locals here where the Balinese culture is said to be the strongest. There are a number of incredible displays and performances of the legends in full costumes that are performed in order to appease and entertain the gods who affect the lives on a day to day basis. Another interesting element of Ubud is the presence of the royal family of Bali and the painting and artwork community that they have maintained for there own pleasure but today the whole world is interested in some of the fine pieces of work and particular style that have been born out of this land no doubt inspired by it is inherent beauty and magical wonder.

In particular December 2006 saw the opening of the incredible royal pool villa at the Furama Villas where every luxury is present and absolute 5 star services and grandeur surrounds you. Multiple pools and a huge private garden may fool you into thinking you are a member of the Balinese family yourself. As for the deluxe villas the standard is also very high with a private pool located within the modest and cozy private garden. Furama Villas has two building separating the bedrooms for couples and families traveling together and the garden quaint with seating options in the shade and the sun. All amenities and services expected of resorts of this nature are present and the staff are enthusiastic to meet any specific demands you may have.

The restaurant and bar are top notch and occupy the prime positions within the gardens and have magnificent views over the surrounding tropical countryside. Furama Villas offers in both are tropical and conventional dishes and refreshments the meet the extremely high standard of Ubud's best cuisine.
