Lembongan Island is still in development which is one of the main attractions of the place for many people. There is world-class diving and surfing here as well as a very large variety of other aquatic and dry activities including golf, sailing and windsurfing. Although the island is not as developed as the mainland of Bali, there are some excellent hotels and places to stay here. Lembongan Island Beach Villas is a particularly nice spot located on dream beach with Balcony views of the famous offshore surfing reefs and on clear day Lombok is visible as an impressive backdrop. Lembongan is a beautiful and far more tranquil place then most of the south Bali locations and has a real tropical paradise island feel. The locals here are friendly and there are very touts in comparison to the mainland.

When traveling to Lembongan Island Beach Villas in Lembongan there are a number of private fast boats that can be arranged to pick you up at any desired time (subject to availability) for the 30 minute crossing. The beach Villas work in conjunction with these boats and it is possible to to reach the port from the international airport in less then 15 minutes. It is also possible to use the public ferries which are extremely cheap but sail twice a day and are not pre-bookable.

The Lembongan Island Beach Villas itself is located on the hillside overlooking the main beach towards the world class swell and Jangut Batu village. There are only 11 rooms and the building here is a modern take on traditional Balinese brought into modern day with practical and free flowing contemporary ideas. The grounds and gardens are inspired by traditional Bali but are of modern villa style offering modern luxury and familiar comfort.

Services include an excellent overflow pool with perfect views out over the hillside towards the fairytale view of the bay. There is an excellent restaurant offering not only local ad eastern cuisine such as Thai and Japanese, but also western favorites, all of which can be enjoyed in an open sided gazebo style dinner with not only a pool view but again, the fantastic panorama is again visible from here. The Bar serves Balinese and imported cocktails sprits as well as beers and other beverages and snacks close to the pool. A snack bar and barbeque service in action offering seafood and other meats reminiscent of the Jimbaran beach scene.
