The Padi Prada Suite is a modern villa complex offering separate bungalows within private gardens centered around an incredible grounds with equally as incredible views over the conservational monkey forest and the rest of Ubud where the hills are lined with rice terraces known as padi and there are numerous tropical woodlands and river valleys that make this are incredibly beautiful. It is not only the landscape that is beautiful in this area but also the incredible Balinese culture that is most dedicated fruitful in the area of Ubud. Because of this Ubud has become known as the cultural heart or centre of Ubud and this can be enjoyed in many ways such as watching the live performances of the ancient rituals and incredible costumed reenactments of the stories and legends of the areas and religion. The culture is impossible to avoid in this are as with most of Bali as the local people make blessings and offering every day to the gods and it is more likely than not that you will come across a large ceremony of some kind for either a family event or a calendar event.

Padi Prada Suite is situated about a hour and a half’s drive from the international airport and is at about 600 meters above the sea level in fresher mountain climates. There is plenty to do for all the family including visiting the monkey forests, many ancient ruins, excellent dinning and trips and tours around he area as well as visiting the painters community.

Rooms are modern with a colonial grandeur, in the bedrooms the huge 4 poser bed is the centre piece of the rooms with curtains and mosquito netting and romantic lighting along with a dark wooden floor and fabrics around the walls. The modern traditional look is incredible and with all the facilities of a modern villa, at the Padi Prada Suite you really get an excellent marriage of the best of both worlds. Facilities in the rooms include a 21’ color television with satellite channels and a full mini bar and snack fridge. There are also all the home amenities including hair dryers and bathroom products and all rooms are fully air conditioned. The entrance to the villa is private and the capacity of the Padi Prada Suite is very small meaning there is a real intimate feel about the place. The gardens are wonderful and have seating areas both in and out of the sun and are wonderfully landscaped in the traditional fashion.

The restaurant is based around the traditional gazebo style and offers a variety of some of the best quality Indonesian meals and feasts that can be found in the area as well as western dishes from around the world including European and American food. The view from the restaurant is over the central gardens and over the tree tops and across the Ubud area where you can witness amazing sunsets over the south of the island of Bali.
