Although Sanur is the longest standing seaside resort in Bali, it has never become overcrowded due the ratio of the number of resorts to coastline. The beach is long and white with warm shallow lagoons protected by offshore reefs that can provide world class surf as well as insuring the beach has only the smallest ankle high lapping waves. Within the safety of these lagoons are amazing swimming and snorkeling opportunities as well as a full multitude of water sports including sailing, windsurfing, banana boating, kayaking and canoeing for all abilities including first timers.
