Puri Wirata Resort and  Spa is a PADI endorsed dive orientated resort of a high class located in the on the east coast well away from the touristy south of the island and conveniently situated within the best diving that Bali has to offer. The east of Bali especially all around Amed is without the most beautiful area on the island. Rice Paddies roll down the hills, the mountains and impressive volcano tower high above and the white and black sands that line the coast meet perfectly calm, clear turquoise waters that are home to a vast array of tropical fishes, corals and other marine life. Close by there are many excellent diving sites that offer a whole variety of sights including big fish, huge sea fans and wall coral and the Liberty wreck that is in amazing condition and sits just of the beach of Tulamben right at the foot of the volcano that pushed it off the beach during the eruption in the 1950s.

The diving is obviously the main activity here with all the latest equipment that is fully serviced and maintained using the PADI guidelines. All instructors are fully qualified and very experienced in diving in Bali and therefore are able to make sure you get the most from your diving according to your standard and experience. There is possible kit hire at the Puri Wirata Resort as well as storage for your personal kit if you wish to bring your own. It is also possible to brush up on your techniques in the pool or do you first dives in the pool in order to practice the drill and become confident with the kit in a safe and controlled environment. PADI courses are also available here going up to PADI Dive Master and ever specialized course such as Diving using mixed gases and underwater photography.
