Samhita Garden is a mod ethnic villa located just outside the centre of Ubud in the centre of Bali. The style of the villa sways towards the traditional side of things especially from the outside where the architecture and gardens really are very true to the traditional Balinese villages and family homes. The interiors however are more of a modern style where traditional artwork and furniture is displayed as well as a whole selection of modern comforts. Ubud has been often referred to as the cultural heart of Bali and is located 600 meters above the sea level at the foot of the central mountain of Bali. From Ubud the views and sights of Bali are incredible, not only from a physical scenery perspective but also culturally beautiful as it is here that the Balinese form of Hinduism remains at its strongest. The scenery around Ubud consists of all that is both Balinese and classically Indonesian including long stretches of rice paddy fields, tropical woodlands and many valleys and rivers that run down form the mountains that tower high above the area in the background and run down to the rarely visited traditional fishing villages.

Form a cultural and further interest perspective Ubud has been home to the Balinese royal family for many ages and due to this has a strong connection to the island and the island's history including wars and royal entertainment including the distinctive dance, painting and carving societies that have been inspired by this magical beautiful land for generations and have produced some fine world acclaimed pieces. All of this and many other attraction including the museums, conservational monkey forest, temples and the incredible tours and walks that area possible are examples of some of the many places of interests that really does suit the entire family.

The restaurant is a traditional gazebo style which looks out over the main gardens and pool for a delightful feed at any time of the day.
