The Sanda Butik Villas are an alternative peaceful retreat located at the foot of the mount Batukaru just north of Tabanan in the centre of the island. Here the landscapes are very much unchanged as a result of tourism and the atmosphere is peaceful and serine. The journey to The Sanda Butik Villas is only an hour or so from the International airport and travels through some beautiful sights of Bali. Surrounded by tropical woodlands and large rice padi complexes that terrace don the hillside all around, Sanda Butik Villas are perfectly situated within the locale where these amazing sights can be enjoyed from the cooler climates and in the fresh mountain breezes. A perfect location for anyone who is not interested in the party land of Kuta or the seaside resorts located around the south of Bali or anyone who fancies running off into the hills for a day or two to experience the real Bali with Balinese hospitality and an array of activities and sights including the impressive surrounding mountains.

The rooms are traditional although they are not without a modern element, water fall features cascade down cobbled walls and the design of the building is inline with the traditional architectural concepts and yet minimalist and reserved in a modern fashion. Facilities include a well lit and comfortable bedroom, full air-conditioning, a mini bar, television with international cable connections, a phone line and all other amenities. The rooms are decorated with a traditional feel with traditional patterns on the fabrics and some traditional artwork. The staff here are particularly helpful and offer the recommended setting at different times of the day for you air conditioning and show you how to operate all the different facilities. All rooms have private balconies overlooking the incredible garden area that is the centre of the entire area. The pool is also visible from the Balconies of most of the rooms at Sanda Butik Villas.

The swimming pool is very large indeed with an infinity edge that looks out over the hillsides with fantastic mind expanding views. There is ample seating around this area and a small bar offering tropical cocktails and conventional drinks including beers wines and spirits. There is a happy hour between 5 and 7 when there is free gin issued for those who enjoy a G & T or and Gin in Juice. Also located in the beautiful gardens is the gazebo style restaurant which is lit up from the inside with golden lights and looks out over the rest of the garden and off the hillsides towards this wonderful view. The restaurant offers a variety of different dishes including western favorites as well as local delicacies and cuisine from the world over. There are a variety of activities and trips available including white water rafting and guided trips into the hills and mountains. Sanda Butik Villas is the perfect spot to get away from the tourists and really find your tropical paradise whether you wish to stay for the duration of your holiday or as many do just take a couple of days out to chill out from the residing in the south of Bali.
