The Taman Ayu Cottage are a peaceful retreat hidden away in Kerobokan, just north of Kuta and Seminyak. Kerobokan is an up and coming location and is still very much a traditional village with very little noticeable impact from Bali’s tourism. The advantages of this for the holidaymaker at Taman Ayu cottage is that you are surrounded by rice padis and traditional Balinese Culture whilst being only a 5 minute drive from the Seminyak and 15 minutes to Kuta. In Kerobokan you eliminate the presence of street sellers, tacky tourist shops and general hassles to buy unwanted paraphernalia that can begin to wear on a Kuta holiday. However the facilities bars and action is still very close, it is hard to imagine you are anywhere near Kuta when relaxing in the tropical country village of Kerobokan.

The villas themselves are of traditional Balinese Architecture although modernly built with contemporary interiors and clean minimal styling and traditional touches in carved furniture and the grand poster beds. Choices are between the one or two bedroom suites which both have large balconies overlooking the beautifully kept traditional gardens. Rooms are all air conditioned with mini bars, security lockers, hot and cool water and international satellite television. The two bedroom villas also have a private swimming pool inside the private gardens for a secluded dip in the afternoon sun.
There are also the cottages that have the above facilities presented in a more traditional fashion and have views over the rice terraces with a more secluded feel. The rooms are also arranged into standard, superior and super deluxe that are increasing in size and general grandeur of interior and grounds. Room facilities include individually controlled air condition, television, mini bar, IDD telephone, bathroom with hot and col water.

Other services at Taman Ayu Cottage include an optional airport transfer eliminating the need to organize over priced public transport upon arrival, a full laundry service and transport hire and charter for excursions and general day-to-day travel. There is also a money changing facility and a 24 hour doctor on call should you require.

The large swimming pool is open during the day and through the sunset period and has ample sun lounging and shaded seating, there is also a bar in close proximity to the pool providing drinks such as cocktails and other snacks and refreshments. For meals Taman Ayu Cottage has an open plan Balinese pavilion style restaurant serving Balinese, European and Indonesian cuisine. There is a business center offering a comfortable environment in which to organize and arrangements, it is also here that tours and packages can be booked and transport can be arranged.

A range of specialized treatments is available at the spa including massage, facials, manicures and pedicures and reflexology. This is all offered from an extremely calm and serine environment.

Taman Ayu Cottage is a very well positioned retreat, with close proximity to the action of Kuta and the high-class bars and restaurants of Seminyak. The villas themselves are very well designed with all facilities and service for direct competition in the area all at a very reasonable price range.
