Tonys Villa is one of the handful of villas located in the Kerobokan area in the furthest north part of the Kuta district. Although just 5 minutes from Seminyak the feel of the area could not be more different. Kerobokan is very much a collection of spread out small country villages each home to a few locals who spend their time tending to their land, chatting in the local warungs (food stalls) and running small businesses. The local Balinese and other residents are always more than happy to stop to chat, direct or help a tourist on his way. This friendly, quiet and safe area is slowly becoming more popular as a base that really is away from the whole tourist scene but is only a five minute drive for when you wish to go out. In Kerobokan you will not be hassled by any street sellers there simply are not any shops selling Bintang (local beer) tee shirts, fake sunglasses and other general tack as there is just are not any tourist around to buy them.
