The Waka Namya Resort and Spa is a luxury sanctuary snugly tucked away in Penestanan which to this day remains cultural heart of Bali. The village is famed by a history of painters and artists running through the community for generations. Ubud is a quiet retreat situated in the centre of Bali just 45 minutes from Kuta, 35 from Denpasar and 45 minutes from the Airport. The Waka Namya Resort offers an array of room options each of superior decor, all rooms are large (25m2) with equally large bathrooms surrounded by vast tropical gardens and lounging areas. There is a smart or casual dress code in the evenings and non residential guests are welcome to indulge although obviously hotel guests receive priority seating.
