Hello,
I am Wong Yuk Sau from Hong Kong. My wife Chiu Po Yuk and I stayed in room 131 ground floor from 23rd to 26 April 2010. On 25th Sunday morning, after breakfast we went back room around 8, to our surprise two of your hotel workers were there (query: is it the normal time to clean and maintain air-conditioning!) One was doing maintaining work on the air-conditioning and the other cleaning the room. Our belonging that included my wife hand bag have been moved from the long seat at the entrance to another long seat in front of the window. My wife found her Bank Credit card was not there but at that moment she was not sure because it might be left in her another purse in Kuala Lumpur. Afterward, we left the room but technician continued his work. We suspected they stole the credit card.
Around 10 a.m., my wife reported the bank in Hong Kong to stop any card transaction since then. After touring, we went back hotel around 20:30 with local guide - Giovanto who told the front desk duty staff this incident. The officer said the air-conditioning was really repaired! We said the credit card was really lost in room!! This has been confirmed last evening when we went back home in Kuala Lumpur.
We do hope your hotel start investigation this suspected card stolen case and let us know your findings and remedial actions to be taken to protect your clients.
