Villas in Bali are notorious for being incredible in style, comfort, services and facilities. Firstly the Traditional Balinese Villas are of quite a distinctive style and are so well established and desirable that they have become an established worldwide villa concept that has been replicated the world over. These Bali Villas are almost exclusively elaborately thatched roof cottages and bungalows displaying the culture and style of traditional Balinese architecture and are often found in Ubud. The walls can be bring or also thatched as well as woven bamboo fibers that create an extremely eastern and relaxing environment for a holiday in this part of the world. The separate bungalows are spaced generously around a breathtaking traditional Balinese tropical garden, Balinese gardens are trimmed and maintained with a lot of pride creating a landscaped court often featuring exotic flowers trees and fruits, statues and small temples and ponds and water features. There is usually a private garden that may contain a private pool and inside the villa the facilities are in sink with any other style of villa in the given price range. Air conditioning, mini bars, telephones, International television, hot and cold water baths inside luxury bathrooms and comfortable furnishing in this example will be of a traditional style along with the artwork displayed within.

Other standard services to expect in any of the Bali villas are at least one excellent restaurant and a bar, at least one large swimming pool, many places have a full spa building and there are always all the services you will need in terms of modern living and holiday needs.

There are also the Mod-Ethnic Bali villas which are a marriage of Traditional styles and modern functional concepts creating a modern villa with traditional influence. This type of Bali villa is growing increasingly popular and there are many around Nusa Dua, Seminyak and Sanur. Often the grounds are lit up by state of the art lighting creating a very romantic feel in the traditional style gazebo restaurants or bars. Many of these places offer private pools and super luxury facilities, it is this genre that includes many of the top Bali Villas.

There are also a number of Modern Bali villas that often have a subtle reference to the traditional concepts of Balinese Villas but are essentially the result of top modern villa designers and offer world-class modern living.
